How do I set up a cctv system for my house?

Also what is the best way to power the cameras?

If you look on the back of your VCR you notice that there is one “RCA” type connector. This will allow only one camera to be hooked up at a time. To record more than on CCTV camera at a time you need what’s called a QUAD PROCESSOR
Click on the picture below for more information A Quad Processor can connect up to 4 cameras and has a single output that connects to your VCR. If you security camera has differn’t type of connector than your VCR then you can run down to a “Radio Shack” type electronics store to get the right adapter.
