CCTV Special Applications
There are many times that a standard cctv camera just wont get the image you need. For example: When you call your HVAC company to inspect your duct work. They will bring a cctv special applicationscamera. It is desiged to be put onto an extendable fiberglass pole to check for dust and dirt that is potentially clogging up your furnace.
Additionally this application requires a cctv camera that has infrared illuminators. This allows the operator of the camera to see in the dark. Another type of special application camera is a cctv bore scope. It has a very small ccd imager about 1/4″ in diameter. They work well in situations like inspecting pipes or even in SWAT team raids
